Keira Knightley's "Anna Karenina" Inspires Banana Republic Fashion Line
Looking adorable on set, Keira Knightley was spotted filming scenes for her new film “Can a Song Save Your Life?” in New York City on Tuesday (July 3).
The 27-year-old actress was all smiles as she donned a cute red sun dress while chatting with co-star Adam Levine.
In other news, it seems that the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actress’ recent film, “Anna Karenina” will be known for more than the acting and the plot.
United States retail empire Banana Republic recently announced that it is launching a fashion line inspired from the film, which will be run by costume designer Jacqueline Durran.
As we began designing this Holiday collection, we found ourselves very inspired by the elegance typical of the Anna Karenina time period," explained Banana Republic Creative Director and Executive Vice President of Design, Simon Kneen.
“With Jacqueline's clear expertise and extensive knowledge of the era, it was a dream to have her as part of the styling and editing process, which allowed us to curate a capsule that embodies the film's mood,” Kneen added.
Look for the line to arrive online and in-stores in October.
