E.L.James Clears Up "50 Shades" Rumors on "Katie"
Talking in her first major interview, E. L. James made an appearance on Katie Couric's new talk show on Monday (September 17) to dish about the upcoming movie and the possibility of a fourth "Fifty Shades of Grey" book.
Clearing up a few things, the first-time novelist revealed that she is not working on a new installment of the trilogy after the last few pages of "Fifty Shades Freed" - which is told in the perspective of Christian Grey - sparked the rumors.
“I just put it in there as an outtake," however Miss James admitted she is not ruling out the idea telling Katie, “I’d like to try to write something else first, but then maybe revisit [Christian Grey]. He’s really hard work.”
As for the film adaptation, Miss James says there is no telling who will be cast to play the main characters explaining, “It’s a sort of collaborative effort, there’s a studio, there’s a production company, there’s two producers, at some point there will be a director."
