Kate Moss Poses in Iconic Bunny Suit for Playboy's 60th Anniversary Issue
The world-renowned supermodel wore the trademark bunny costume as she posed in a catlike position for the Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott-shot spread.
During a recent interview, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner admitted that Miss Moss was the ultimate poster girl for the publication's 60th anniversary issue.
"She's a worldwide celebrity and iconic and crosses the boundaries from sexy imagery to upscale modelling," Mr. Hefner explained. "It's a natural for us."
Also pitching in on the convo, Playboy's editorial director Jimmy Jellinek stated, "This is a massive global brand. You need a global icon in order to celebrate that - that was the impetus."
Mr. Jellinek continued, "You're talking about the face of Burberry, the biggest supermodel in the world on the cover of Playboy. She's the perfect partner for us to help launch the next 60 years."
"It started with Marilyn Monroe on the cover of Playboy 60 years ago, an icon for her time. Now we've got Kate Moss!" he added.
Not only did Kate sign on to cheers the gentleman's magazine for its 60 years of success, but also to celebrate her 40th birthday. It is also said that she will be appearing nude in the issue.
