Prince William and Kate Middleton Unveil Conjugal Coat of Arms
Of course Queen Elizabeth II had to sign off on the design, submitted earlier this year by London’s College of Arms, and the whole world got a peek at the Coat on Friday morning (September 27).
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge each have their own shield represented on the Conjugal Coat of Arms, with Will’s portion containing the three lions of England, the lion of Scotland, and the harp of Ireland.
A Royal rep told press that the Coat will belong to Will and Kate forever, "however as their circumstances and roles alter, elements of the accouterments around the shields may change."
