Prince William’s Wet and Wild 30th Birthday Weekend
Turning 30 can be a bit intimidating for some folks, but Prince William had nothing but fun as he celebrated his milestone birthday over the weekend.
The Duke of Cambridge’s wife Kate Middleton arranged a celebration fit for a (future) king, inviting his brother Prince Harry and a select group of close friends to Anglesey, North Wales.
Guests were said to include Thomas van Straubenzee, Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, and Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton, and everyone had a blast going tubing behind a speedboat in the chilly sea.
An insider told press, “For most 30-year-olds, the last thing they would want to do is freeze themselves on a wet weekend in Wales. But this is typical of William.”
From there, the party moved to Will and Kate’s rented farmhouse for a top-notch birthday dinner and social gathering.
As an added bonus, on Prince William’s 30th birthday (which was actually June 21), he inherited $16 million from his late mother Princess Diana.
