Checking out the gorgeous sites, Kate Middleton and Prince William continued their royal tour at Ayers Rock in Australia this morning (April 22).

The pair posed for a few photos and greeted their welcoming committee while watching indigenous performers during a visit to Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre.

As for Ayers Rock, the sandstone rock rises 1,142ft above the red earth with a circumference of 5.8 miles and it was formed hundreds of millions of years ago when sand was deposited on the bed of an inland sea.

According to the Mirror, the indigenous people have looked after the land for tens of thousands of years but only won back the title to the land in 1985 is what is known as the Handback.
