Justin Bieber Turns Himself into Toronto Police, Charged with Assault
Going under the microscope for yet another set of illegal activities, Justin Bieber turned himself into Toronto police on charges of criminal assault Wednesday evening (January 29).
A video obtained by TMZ shows the 19-year-old popping out of a car and making his way into the police station while dodging a massive crowd of fans and reporters, and this time, Justin faces the charges after an alleged attack on a limousine driver back in December.
Not long after making his way into the station, Toronto police confirmed that the "Baby" crooner was officially charged with assault and is set to appear at Old City Hall courthouse on March 10, this according to CBC News.
Hearing about the news, talent manager, Scooter Braun tweeted about the situation, writing, "for all those asking @JeremyBieber and @pattiemallette love their son. Stop passing judgement on a situation u dont understand," also adding, "I ask people to be kind and hope for the best in people. not assume the worst. thanks."
Who knows what this could mean for the Biebs' career, but he doesn't seem to be slowing down yet as the "As Long As You Love Me" singer's new music video for "Confident" just released moments before he turned himself in.
