Justin Bieber’s Run-In with Johnny Law

He’s not exactly inconspicuous in his flashy Fisker Karma automobile, and Justin Bieber attracted some unwanted attention from a police officer today (July 6).

The “Baby” singer was out tooling around in Studio City via the 101 Freeway, California when he got going a bit too fast and was pulled over for speeding.

Of course, the Biebs tried his best to talk the cop out of giving him a ticket, but was still slapped with a citation despite his plea.

Adding to the fiasco, Biebs has taken quite the verbal lashing, as he was apparently sharing the expressway with a L.A. City Councilman - and former LAPD cop - Dennis Zine.

During his interview with TMZ, Zine blasted the teen, saying he should be thrown in cuffed and thrown in the slammer.

"Bieber was driving like a maniac. He was weaving in and out of traffic. There was hardly any space between cars as he weaved from lane to lane."

Zine added, "If I was on patrol, I would have arrested him for reckless driving. I was going 60 and he drove by me like he was in a rocket ship. He was a maniac."

After hearing of the harsh words, Justin's manager, Scooter Braun, brushed off the claims, telling the site Zine "is just a councilman looking for a headline."

And obviously not stopping for anything, Bieber was forced to dial 911 after his traffic stop, explaining the paps were at it again. Local law enforcement says they are investigating the whole ordeal and are looking into whether the shutterbugs were creating an unsafe environment.
