Box Office: "Act of Valor" Outguns the Competition

Gunning its way straight to the top, the newly released movie "Act of Valor" has taken ahold of the top spot at the box office to kick off the weekend of February 24-26, 2012.

The Navy SEALs featuring film generated plenty of buzz, especially for male moviegoers, while pulling in $9 million on opening day and another $9.5 million on Saturday for an estimated debut weekend total of $24.5 million.

Box Office: "Safe House" Takes Slim Lead Over "The Vow"

Making for a tight race as the President's Day run gets underway, "Safe House" has taken a slim lead to grab ahold of the top spot at the box office during the holiday weekend of February 17-20, 2012.

The Denzel Washington/Ryan Reynolds spearheaded crime/thriller raked in $6.5 million on Friday and another $9.7 million on Saturday while projected to close out the four-day weekend with $28.5 million.

Vanessa Hudgens Premieres "Journey 2" in Paris!

Hitting the red carpet in the City of Lights, Vanessa Hudgens was back in promotional mode for the "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" premiere in Paris on Sunday (February 12).

The 23-year-old brunette beauty joined alongside co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Luis Guzman while warmly greeting their avid French fans before heading inside the UGC Cine Cite Bercy theatre to screen their action/adventure film.

Box Office: "The Vow" Edges Out "Safe House"

Pulling in much higher than anticipated numbers, Hollywood is rolling in the cash with "The Vow" leading the way by topping the box office over the weekend of February 10-12, 2012.

The Rachel McAdams/Channing Tatum starring romantic drama took home an approximate $15.3 million on Friday and another $16.4 million on Saturday while pacing towards a pack-leading $41 million total.

Sure to take its audience on quite the cinematic ride, New Line/Warner Bros' new action/adventure picture "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" is out in theaters now (February 10).
