Jonas Brothers Honored at Variety's Power of Youth Awards
Adding to their squeaky clean image, the Jonas Brothers were honored at Variety's Power of Youth Awards at Paramount Studios in Hollywood this weekend (September 15).
The former Disney siblings were feted for their work with the Change for the Children Foundation. The charity was started by JoBros to "support programs that motivate and inspire children to face adversity with confidence, determination and a will to succeed."
Further explaining their mission on the foundation's website, Nick, Joe and Kevin stated, "And we think the best people to help children are their peers -- kids helping other kids who are a little less fortunate."
The Variety Power of Youth initiative celebrates top young talent and their dedication to philanthropic and humanitarian causes closest to their hearts, while encouraging the industry and their fans around the world to get involved and give back.
Performing at the event was "Vampire Diaries" actress and fellow award recipient Kat Graham. Others receiving their due recognition at the show included Diego Boneta (Vannie E. Cook Jr. Children's Cancer & Hematology Clinic), Sarah Hyland (The Lopez Foundation), Vanessa Hudgens (Make-A-Wish Foundation) and Jordin Sparks (I'm M.A.D., Are You? for ChildHelp).
