After proving Jim Carrey's ability to take on non-comedic acting roles back in 1998, "The Truman Show" is heading for television.

Paramount TV is developing the flick for the small screen, which followed Truman Burbank, a man whose entire life was one big script with himself being the only real thing in his world.

Though Jason Fisher has been tapped for head of production, details on the project are currently not available.

The developers are certainly hoping to capture the film's success, as it was nominated for three Oscars and scored over $250 million at the worldwide box office. Stay linked to GossipCenter for any updates.
