Jillian Michaels: I Will be Returning to "The Biggest Loser"
“Biggest Loser” fans rejoice! Your favorite trainer Jillian Michaels is back.
The 38-year-old fitness guru made the announcement on the “Today Show” this morning (September 4), saying, “There’s been a lot of talk swirling around and the time is now to finally announce that I will be returning to the show for the next season in January.”
Miss Michaels explained that she decided to come back to the weight loss competition in part because the series will now take on the problem of childhood obesity. Not only will she work with adults, but Jillian will also help teenagers with their fitness programs.
The kids will not be weighed on TV, nor will they be eliminated from the competition.
The new mother decided to leave the show in 2010 to focus on her growing family. Tennis pro Anna Kournikova replaced the celebrity trainer but left after just one season.
