Jillian Harris Talks Jason and Molly’s Wedding

Ideas for wedding gifts may be difficult for some, but Jillian Harris has it in the bag.

After attending the nuptials of “Bachelor” stars Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney over the weekend, Ms Harris explained that she kept her gift plain and simple.

“I went on their registry and there wasn’t much left,” Jillian says, laughing. “But one thing that was left was a wicker laundry basket and I thought that was really cute.”

Sharing the story behind it, the former “Bachelorette” says, “Over the holidays we were talking about wedding gifts and my mom and dad received a wicker laundry basket from her sister and brother-in-law for their wedding 30 years ago.”

“They still have it and they use it every day. So I thought if anything is going to last, and if they are going to be thinking of us every time Jason does laundry, I might as well buy them a laundry basket. On the card I made a joke and said, ‘Every time you do laundry you’ll be thinking of us.’”
