She's continuing to make her way up the supermodel ranks, but now Jessica Hart admits she didn't dream about walking down the catwalk.

In the January 2014 issue of Vogue Australia magazine, the 27-year-old stunner opens up about becoming a model after winning the Dolly contest in 2000 and even discussed her controversial comments about Taylor Swift at this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

Highlights from Miss Hart's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Vogue Australia!

On her career after the contest:
"I was a little upstart, I didn't really want to do it and when I didn't get a job, I didn't really care. For the first three years, I was always complaining, begging to be sent home. When I first moved to London, I would cry every night to my family. A model girlfriend of mine in Australia, who was a bit older than me, was always overseas and it would never work out for her. She would say to me, 'Why aren't you taking these opportunities seriously? I would do anything to be begged by my agents to stay.' Then unfortunately she passed away and, when she did I realized I was being a spoiled brat."

On her advice to those going into modeling:
"A man yesterday at lunch was telling me that his two daughters want to get into modeling and he doesn't know what to do. I couldn't give him any advice other than, 'You need to see in your girls that they have it.' Ninety-nine percent of the girls [in the industry] are pretty, but it's also personality, it's the strength to not care what people think..."

On her remarks about Taylor:
"It was taken out of context, but I have certainly learned my lesson."
