Jenny McCarthy’s Twitter Nightmare
She’s always been outspoken about her hatred of vaccines for kids, and Jenny McCarthy received a serious shellacking for her views during a recent Twitter exchange.
The “Singled Out” starlet asked her followers, "What is the most important personality trait you look for in a mate? Reply using #JennyAsks,” on March 13th and it was all downhill from there.
On follower snarked, "Somebody who gets that refusing vaccines because of 'toxins' and then shilling for e-cigs makes you a pathetic hypocrite.”
From there, another McCarthy fan (or not) tweeted, “Someone who doesn't spread false info causing disease."
Determined not to be defeated, Jenny fired back on Monday (March 17th), "Thank you to all the haters who tweet my name. You make my Q SCORE higher and higher. It's because of you I continue to work. Thank you!"
In a 2008 interview, Jenny began her public anti-vaccine campaign, telling Larry King, "Isn't it ironic, in 1983 there were 10 shots and now there's 36 and the rise of autism happened at the same time?"
"We need to get rid of the toxins, the mercury—which I am so tired of everyone saying it's been removed. It has not been removed from the shots."
