In talks for a role in a film that all of her children can view, Jennifer Garner may join the cast of "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad, Day."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 41-year-old actress would portray Alexander's mother, opposite Steve Carell, in the adaptation of the children's book.
Authored by Judith Viorst, the story follows a family's worst day of their lives, beginning with Alexander waking up with gum in his hair.
The flick will be Jen's second family film in two years. In 2012, the mother-of-three starred in "The Odd Life of Timothy Green."
