Jennifer Connelly Talks “Noah” on “Good Morning America”
She has quite the extensive Tinseltown resume, and Jennifer Connelly's latest gig is an epic film of Biblical proportions.
The “Labyrinth” star dropped by “Good Morning America” on Thursday (March 20) to discuss “Noah,” the controversial new movie also starring Russell Crowe and Anthony Hopkins.
Jennifer noted, “It’s a really epic, rich, I think elaborate telling of this story. It’s like nothing [director/co-writer] Darren [Aranofsky] has done before.”
As for the widespread criticism of the plot, Connolly explained, “Really, it’s true to the spirit of the story in the Bible. What you’ll find is that the controversy that was generated [was] by people who were speculating [and] hadn’t seen the film yet, for the most part. We’re now getting feedback from religious leaders who have seen the film and are really embracing it and supporting it.”
