Jenna Dewan-Tatum: I Didn't Think Much About Losing Weight After I Gave Birth
Stepping out for a mid-week social call, Jenna Dewan-Tatum stopped for a bite to eat at Crossroads restaurant in West Hollywood on Wednesday (March 5).
The "Step Up" hottie donned a super cute beige shirt and pumps with distressed jeans as she and her gal pal made their way into the delicious hot spot.
Meanwhile, Jenna revealed to Us Weekly her ultimate secret to losing the 33 pounds she gained before giving birth to her daughter Everly last year. "I didn't think much about losing weight. I was overwhelmed and in love with my baby!"
Although the weight loss hasn't been on her mind, the 33-year-old actress shared her proactive approach to fitness during her pregnancy. "The second I found out I was pregnant, I called [my trainer] Jen Johnson. We found areas we wanted to target: arms and legs. I wanted to keep the muscles alive. Plus, I felt so much better. Working out kept me sane. I would feel a burst of energy and all my hormones would regulate."
Also discussing her healthy diet during the pregnancy, Miss Dewan-Tatum stated, "I think a lot of women find out they're pregnant and are like, 'Let's go crazy and eat ice cream every day!' To me, it was, 'I'm growing a human being, and I want to give this little soul the best nutrition I can."
In regards to her hubby Channing Tatum and his parenting skills, Jenna gushed, "He's like a big kid. He plays with her, and she laughs harder and smiles bigger than she does with anyone."
"Dad comes around and it's playtime. She's like, 'Mom, I'll talk to you later!'" she added.
