Jay-Z Rocks the Subway to Brooklyn Show
He’s been trying to up the ante for the Brooklyn borough of New York City for awhile now, and Jay-Z played eight sold-out concerts at the newly-opened Barclays Center this past week.
Over the weekend, the “Empire State of Mind” rapper even decided to take the subway to the gig, which proved to be a little more difficult than originally thought.
Still, Jay was unharmed and got to rub shoulders with many of his fans before taking the stage for his high-energy show.
At one point, Jay-Z’s wife Beyoncé Knowles came out onto the stage to perform “Crazy in Love,” during which the “99 Problems” hitmaker got sidetracked and forgot to come in with his rhymes.
Jay told the crowd, "Of course I had to let BK touch the stage in BK [Brooklyn] - well BKC now."
An 8-song EP from the shows will go on sale on iTunes tomorrow (October 9th).
