Beyonce Readies to Sing for Barack
Coming up next week, the United States will be undergoing a massive transition as new President Barack Obama is sworn into office. And Beyonce Knowles will be there to help him and his family celebrate.
In fact, the “Bootylicious” songstress will actually sing for Barack and Michelle Obama’s first dance on Inauguration night (Tuesday January 20).
As for what song she’ll sing, that detail isn’t being released. Spokeswoman Linda Douglass told press, “It is our hope that we can keep the song secret until the moment.”
Additionally, Knowles will also perform at Tuesday night’s Neighborhood Ball along with her hubby Jay-Z. Other performers will include Sting, Faith Hill, will.i.am, and Mariah Carey.
