James Franco’s Former Manager Accused of Pocketing Percentage of Actor’s Earnings
Starting the weekend with a lawsuit, James Franco's former management company reportedly accused a team member of stealing money from the actor for the past eight years.
According to the court documents obtained by TMZ, in 2006 Franco’s former manager Miles Levy told James Levy Management that the actor only paid 10-percent to the company, rather than the standard 15-percent.
The “Pineapple Express” star claims that he paid the full fee and Miles allegedly kept the extra five percent for himself.
In addition, Levy also allegedly used James’ credit card for his personal expenses, but James and the offender settled that dispute last year.
Levy Maganagement’s other partners are seeking restitution in the current lawsuit.
