WATCH: Jada Pinkett Smith Talks Human Trafficking on Capitol Hill
Making her way to Capitol Hill, Jada Pinkett Smith talked about ways to stop human trafficking during a testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee with her husband Will Smith and daughter Willow Smith by her side on Tuesday (July 17).
Showing off her natural curly hair, the "Hawthorne" actress kept her look casual in a tan blazer and a white t-shirt that read "Free Slaves", which Willow and Will were also spotted wearing for the testimony.
During the hearing, Jada talked about ways to combat human trafficking over the next decade and, while she prepared to launch a campaign to raise awareness about the world wide issue, the actress says human slavery "robs us of the thing we value most, our freedom."
After the meeting, Willow tweeted a picture of herself standing behind Senator John Kerry’s committee seat holding a gravel up in the air, adding, “I'm getting radical on human trafficking!!!”
Check out the video of Jada and Will walking into the conference room and posing for a quick picture before making their way to their seats.
