With her new action-packed flick "Need for Speed" slated to hit theaters March 14th, Imogen Poots garnered herself a little added exposure by covering the March 2014 issue of Flare magazine.

The "Fright Night" babe looked super cute in a colorful Alexander Wang dress for the Jason Kim-shot front page while opening up about topics including her acting career and her thoughts about "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence.

Highlights from Miss Poot's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Flare!

On her career:
"All these actors 'knew' at age three. They were like, 'I sh*t my pants, but I knew I wanted to be an actor. For me, it was just a kind of silent recognition that I wanted to do it; it wasn't something I was very loud about, ever."

On Jennifer:
"There's a sense of lightness to her. By the look of it, she's not trying. You can tell when someone is putting on a role. If someone really believes in what they're saying, it's quite hard to find cracks."

On her acting advice:
"It's important to watch as much as you can, and to understand what came before. But the lack of control, that's part of the thrill, because you just don't know and you keep going."
