Taking time away from her modeling duties, Hilary Rhoda soaked up the spotlight by covering the latest issue of Net-A-Porter's The Edit magazine.

While striking a few poses in designer garbs from Stella McCartney and Balmain for the Raf Stahelin-shot spread, the 26-year-old stunner opened up about her exciting career and her fashion sense.

Check out a few highlights from Miss Rhoda's interview below. For more, be sure to visit The Edit!

On her career:
"I thought that if modeling didn't work, I could get my education after. It was a risk but I'm glad I took it. Being grounded is important. If you get caught up in the model lifestyle and the compliments, people won't hire you if you let that go to your head."

On her love for fashion:
"You're exposed to these amazing designers who are making clothes straight onto your body. Seeing the best stylists put things together give me inspiration to try different things. I like to be comfortable. I went to a Catholic school so I wore a uniform every day. That drilled something into my brain about dressing simply."

On her wedding dress:
"I think I'll towards something simple. I loved Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy's wedding gown."
