"Man of Steel" Poster Revealed at 2012 Comic-Con Panel
Revealing more information about the highly anticipated Superman flick, Henry Cavill was on hand at the 2012 Comic-Con panel for Warner Brothers and Legendary Pictures in San Diego on Saturday (July 14).
The 29-year-old actor and director Zack Snyder revealed a new special edition poster for their film “Man of Steel,” which also stars Amy Adams as Daily Planet journalist Lois Lane, and Laurence Fishburne as her editor-in-chief, Perry White.
In related Superman news, the pair may have gotten comic book fans very excited during the panel when they hinted at a possible DC Justice League movie.
“Superman is the jewel in the DC crown,” Snyder told the Hall H audience of about 6,500. “And really what we’re trying to do is get his house in order, and then who knows what’s possible.”
Cavill also talked about his take on the famous character stating, “You guys who know everything about him. You’re there through thick and thin. It’s for everyone else out there as well who hasn’t quite experienced what Superman can be, hasn’t gone through comics books, hasn’t felt that world and seen how it changed. And with this, hopefully it can bring a modern version which everyone can associate with.”
