“Guardians of the Galaxy” Is North America’s Highest-Grossing Movie of 2014
As the Labor Day holiday weekend comes to a close, Chris Pratt & Co are back on top of the box office earnings list.
According to domestic numbers, “Guardians of the Galaxy” scored an impressive $22.2 million, and when added to the previous total of $260 million that puts it ahead of previous leader “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”
Meanwhile, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is sitting pretty at #2 with $15.7 million, bringing the domestic earnings to $166.4 million in four weeks.
At #3, Chloe Moretz’s “If I Stay” brought in $11.6 million and “Let’s Be Cops” came in at #4 thanks to $10.6 million in tickets.
