Nicki Minaj's Religious GRAMMY Performance
Continuing to dominate the pop music landscape, Nicki Minaj gave a fabulous performance at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards tonight (February 12).
The “Super Bass” rapper channeled her alter ego Roman for a Catholic imagery-laden rendition of her single “Roman Holiday.”
As a crescendo to the performance, Nicki was portrayed as a demon-possessed girl and exorcised by a Catholic priest character, which has drawn mixed reviews from critics.
Cash Money Records’ CEO Birdman told press that Nicki’s forthcoming album is chock full of the freshest, hottest material Minaj has produced in her career.
"She's grown so much as an artist. She's so talented that this sh-- is scary. She really is the female Weezy. Hands down, she bad as a mother----er. Her talents, skills and what she's done with her music and the way she is in front of a camera. She's just so talented to be so young. It's a brand-new style. I'm just so glad she's on our team."
