Jennifer Hudson’s Touching GRAMMY Tribute to Whitney Houston
The entertainment world is still in the midst of aftershocks from the tragic death of Whitney Houston yesterday (February 11) and tonight (February 12) Jennifer Hudson honored the late songstress with a memorable Grammy Awards performance.
The “Where You At” songstress was joined onstage at the Staples Center by Chaka Khan for the moment, which was hurriedly put together over the past 24 hours.
Grammy Executive Producer Ken Erhlich told press that the late Houston, a six-time Grammy winner, made such a huge impact on the Grammys over her career.
"It's too fresh in everyone's memory to do more at this time, but we would be remiss if we didn't recognize Whitney's remarkable contribution to music fans in general, and, in particular, her close ties with the Grammy telecast and her Grammy wins and nominations over the years."
