Philip Seymour Hoffman Found Dead: Adding to the list of celebrities gone too soon, actor and director Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead of an apparent overdose in his Manhattan apartment. The Academy Award winner most recently appeared in the "Hunger Games" films.

Kristin Cavallari Reveals Baby Gender on Instagram: Too excited to keep a secret any longer, Kristin Cavallari revealed she is having another boy. She and hubby Jay Cutler are already proud parents to 17-month-old Camden.

One Direction Named Most Popular Artists; Confirming what scores of "Directioners" already knew, the boys of One Direction were named the world's most popular artists by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. According to the organization's announcement, "One Direction have seen huge success with their third studio album Midnight Memories, which contained the hit singles 'Best Song Ever' and 'Story of My Life.' The album topped the U.S. Billboard Top 200 chart, making One Direction the first group in the charts history to debut at No. 1 with its first three albums. It also topped the charts in countries from Australia to the U.K."

Justin Bieber Chared with Assault in Canada: He was already dealing with legal woes in the US, and Justin Bieber turned up in his native Canada to face assault charges stemming from a December incident, in which a limo driver was assaulted. The Biebs' lawyer released a statement, which read, “The Toronto Police Service requested that Justin Bieber appear in Toronto today to face an allegation of assault relating to an incident on December 29, 2013. We anticipate that this matter will be treated as a summary offense, the equivalent of a misdemeanor in the United States. Our position is that Mr. Bieber is innocent. As the matter is now before the Court, it would be inappropriate to address the specifics of either the allegation or of our defense at this time."

ACM Awards Announce Nominees: Gearing up for one of country music's biggest nights, the Academy of Country Music revealed the list of nominees for this year's awards. Leading the way,Tim McGraw and Miranda Lambert are each up for seven trophies, while Grammy performer Keith Urban has half a dozen shots at glory. The 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be held on April 6th at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.
