GossipCenter's Weekly Wrap Up: April 7-13

As the temperatures warm up, celebrities are eager to get out and about. Here is what caught our eye here at GossipCenter this week!

Coachella Kicks Off: Ringing in concert season, celebs and music fans from all over to Indio, CA for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Musical acts slated to perform include Ellie Goulding, Outkast, Muse, Zedd and Pharrell Williams.

The Duke and Duchess Begin their Royal Tour: Kicking off a much anticipated tour, Kate Middleton and Prince William made their arrival in New Zealand. Accompanying them on their three week journey is their son Prince George, who made an adorable impression on shutterbugs awaiting their appearance.

Stephen Colbert to Replace David Letterman: He has big shoes to fill, but Stephen Colbert is eager for the challenge. The Comedy Central star signed a 5 year deal to replace David Letterman on "The Late Show" when he retires in 2015.

Samantha Harris Schedules Double Mastectomy: Taking action to fight breast cancer, Samantha Harris will undergo a double mastectomy later this month after finding a lump in her right breast. Deciding the course of treatment was the right one for her, the former "Dancing with the Stars" host told reporters, "I was sick of feeling the way that I did in the days after the diagnosis. I knew I needed to take control… I felt so much calmer."

Peaches Geldof Passes Away: Just as her career was taking off, Peaches Geldof was found dead a home near Wrotham, Kent after a friend, concerned for the television personality's well-being called the police. Autopsy results were returned inconclusive as to a result of death. She survived by her children children, her husband Thomas, sister and her dad.
