Gisele Parts Ways With Victoria's Secret
A new era is set to begin for Victoria's Secret, as Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen has reportedly ended her contract with the lingerie retailer.
Gisele's sister, Patricia Bundchen, confirmed to Brazilian Website Glamurana that contract talks had broken off. Already the highest paid model in the world, Gisele quit as the lingerie line's leading 'Angel' after the company refused to boost her current annual salary of $5 million.
According to a NY Post source, the company isn't fretting Bundchen's departure - thinking that it may be for the best.
"Her demands were outrageous. She got a new lawyer who was unrealistic," the Page Six source stated.
"Victoria's Secret doesn't care. They have five new hotter, younger girls debuting next year. And they won't have to deal with any craziness," the insider added.
The Victoria's Secret Angels are the spokespersons for Victoria's Secret. Current Victoria's Secret Angels include Oluchi Onweagba, Selita Ebanks, Adriana Lima, Izabel Goulart, Alessandra Ambrosio, Karolina Kurkova, and Heidi Klum, who is slowly making a comeback from her motherly duties.
