Enrique Iglesias Plugs New Album Sex and Love on “Today”
He’s gearing up for the release of Sex and Love here in the States tomorrow (March 18) and this morning (March 17) Enrique Iglesias showed up at the “Today” show for a very special performance.
The “Hero” crooner chatted about the meaning behind his latest studio effort- “That’s exactly why I call the album sex and love. It’s pretty straightforward. At the end of the day we can all relate to that. No matter what color, what religion, what nationality, we all know what it feels like to be in love… sex.. love.”
And when asked which her preferred to sing about (sex or love), Iglesias smirked, “Depends who you’re with, depends where you’re at, depends what inspires you.”
Meanwhile, Enrique also clarified his view on marriage with regard to longtime girlfriend Anna Kournikova- “I didn’t say that I don’t want to get married, what I said is that we’re extremely happy the way we are. I’m not against marriage by any means. I have not ruled it out but if you’re happy I don’t think it will make a difference. She’s the coolest girl in the world.”
Finally, Iglesias sang “Heart Attack,” “I’m a Freak” and one of his Spanish-language ditties for the eager (and freezing) crowd.
