"Orphan Black" Stays Positve After Tatiana Maslany's 2014 Emmy Snub
With any award show, there comes plenty of surprise snubs and "Orphan Black's" Tatiana Maslany was definitely one of those left disappointed with the announcement of the 2014 Emmy nominees this morning (July 10).
BBC America's clone conspiracy thriller's official Twitter account kept its head high after the 28-year-old actress missed out on a nomination alongside leading dramatic actresses including Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife), Kerry Washington (Scandal), Robin Wright (House of Cards), Lizzy Caplan (Masters of Sex), Claire Danes (Homeland) and Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey).
"Next year, #CloneClub. #EmmyForMaslany," the account wrote, along with, "Proud of #TatianaMaslany and the entire #OrphanBlack family. Thanks for all the love, #CloneClub."
Finally. "Orphan Black" penned, "Tatiana Maslany is trending worldwide! Related news: Helena believes awards are made of chocolate. Hide all statuettes. #EmmyForMaslan."
Maslany wasn't the only star snubbed by the Emmy's. "Mad Men's" Elisabeth Moss, "The Blacklist's" James Spader and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine's" Andy Samberg all missed out on a coveted nomination.
