The 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards full nomination list was just announced this morning (July 18), and stars are speaking out.

Kevin Spacey, Jim Parsons, Don Cheadle and other nominees spoke to The Hollywood Report about the announcement and excitement of this year's event.

"It's a beautiful day in Baltimore! We are already up working, but it's always a nerve-racking when you're the last name mentioned," Mr. Spacey exclaimed after learning about his nod for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his work in "House of Cards."

He continues, "I'm very happy, first for the series, that we were able [to] break through a lot of great shows. It was our first season, so it's obvious a big thing for us. It's also a huge day for Netflix too. Nine nominations!"

"The Big Bang Theory's" Jim Parson, who now has his fifth nomination (and one win) for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy, spoke about the exciting news. "There's something about having finished season six and being so entrenched in this work now. We're in such a good spot with it and our audience, things have gone so well. Because of all that [and] how long we've been on, there's something even more sweet about it; it feels even more of an honor getting to go."

Also nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy is "House of Lies" actor Don Cheadle. "Given all the hilarious film work I've done, from Traffic to Crash to Flight, it's nice to finally be recognized as the comic genius I am," he proclaimed.

Co-creator Alex Gansa of Showtime's "Homeland," which has 11 nominations including Best Drama, also spoke to the publication about his reaction. "I was stirring oatmeal for my family. Literally, pouring Scotish oats into the water when my phone started to explode. We're totally thrilled. It's nice to get a chance to defend the drama title this yea against some fantastic shows, but the best thing for us is the writing nomination for [the late] Henry Bromell. feel an intense amount of pride for being able to work with somebody like Henry, and we just miss him every day. And then obviously [we’re thrilled] for Mandy [Patinkin,] who I really thought was overlooked last year. They’re all great. All of these nominations mean that everybody is working as hard as they can to make a quality television show, and it’s great to see people rewarded for that."
