Emily Blunt: Motherhood is the “Coolest Thing That’s Ever Happened To Me”
She has a successful movie career and a handsome leading man but Emily Blunt couldn’t wait to finally become a mom.
In a pre-birth interview (daughter Hazel was born on February 16th) that appears in the April 2014 issue of Vogue, the “Adjustment Bureau” babe explained her thoughts on having a baby.
She gushed, “It’s really the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me. I feel good, although I do wake up feeling like my grandmother. I sleep with a fortress of pillows around me. I’ve got one of those huge C-shaped ones. My husband calls it Gary.”
As for her diet, Blunt prefers to be gluten-free. “I know everyone rolls their eyes, but I met a hippie doctor who suggested it, and it’s really helped me in the pregnancy. Everyone says don’t go online and read as few books as you possibly can.”
And Emily isn’t into excessive primping, like some of her peers. “I’m out of the house in an hour and fifteen minutes. I like to make simple choices with what I wear, and I like to look like me.”
