Ellen DeGeneres: Doing Well After Chest Pain Scare
She called paramedics complaining of chest pains yesterday (September 26), but now it seems Ellen DeGeneres is feeling much better.
The daytime talk show hostess had a health scare when she experienced “tightness and heaviness” in her chest on Sunday, and by Monday morning she called for help.
And of course, Ellen put a silly spin on the story while telling it to her audience on yesterday’s show.
"The paramedics were strippers that I had called. That's how the rumors got started. I woke up in the middle of the night….[feeling] like something was heavy on my chest and it was a cat, so I moved it. I still felt the tightness and heaviness, so there was another cat under that cat. There were two cats on my chest."
She added, "It's better to be safe than sorry. Who doesn't want to see a fireman occasionally? I want to say thank you to all the paramedics and the nurses who showed up...I appreciate it."
