Elizabeth Olsen Confirms “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” Gig
After months of industry rumors, Elizabeth Olsen herself has declared that she’ll play The Scarlet Witch in the forthcoming flick “The Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
The “Silent House” hottie told MTV News that she’ll star opposite Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who will play Scarlet’s brother Quicksilver.
Having worked with Taylor-Johnson on “Godzilla,” Elizabeth noted that she looks forward to the reunion.
"We get to play husband and wife, and we get to play twin brother and sister. It's also fun because even though in 'Godzilla' we play husband and wife, we don't have a lot of scenes together. I just love him. I love his family. I love his kids. I'm so excited...to actually work with each other. I think it's going to be fun."
As for director Joss Whedon, Olsen gushed, “He's very smart. He's too smart. He might be too smart. Some people are too smart for their own good, but he's amazing."
