Elizabeth Banks Dishes on "Pitch Perfect 2"
Giving fans another reason to be excited about the upcoming film "Pitch Perfect 2," Elizabeth Banks dished out some details about the highly anticipated sequel.
During an interview with Huffington Post, the 40-year-old actress discussed her role as director and her expectations.
"I was on as producer for the first film and have been with the movie since its inception, so this next time around I'm just taking on a lot more responsibility," Miss Banks explained. "I still want to bring as much laughter and humor and joyfulness and great music to the franchise that I can."
Also chatting about Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson returning for the second film, Elizabeth stated she's thrilled to work with the two actresses again.
"I'm really excited to direct the girls. The whole project speaks so much to me and to women and to making women funny in really fun and interesting ways and that's what I'm most looking forward to. I'm looking forward to letting the girls let lose."
In regards to any script hints, "The Hunger Games" star revealed, "All I can say right now is that they will be graduating seniors this time around, rather than incoming freshmen."
