Topping the list this year is Eddie Murphy, who the magazine estimates that for every $1 he made, the films earned an average of $2.30. Those last three movies were the forgettable "Imagine That," "A Thousand Words," and "Meet Dave."

More than 25 years after the first "Beverly Hills Cop" movie was released, Eddie Murphy has reached a deal to bring the story to television.

Along with "The Shield" creator, Shawn Ryan, the 51-year-old comedian secured a pilot production commitment from CBS for a show revolving around the son of Axel Foley, Murphy's slick police detective from the movie and its two sequels.
