"Django Unchained" Stars Named GQ's 2012 Emancipators of the Year
With "Django Unchained" set to hit the big screen on Christmas Day (December 25), members of the all-star cast landed a feature in GQ's December 2012 "Men of the Year" issue.
Samuel L. Jackson, Quentin Tarantino, Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz looked handsome in Prada, Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana garb for the Gregory Harris shot spread while receiving their honor as Emancipators of the Year.
A few highlights from the cast and director's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to GQ's!
Mr. Waltz on working with Tarantino:
"Quentin's movies are grand cinematic opera. Slavery in this case would be the great dilemma, and the great dilemma of the hero is: To avenge or not to avenge?"
Mr. Foxx on the new flick:
"[It's a] love story, not a revenge fantasy."
