Diane Keaton Flirts with Matt Lauer, Talks Woody Allen on “Today”
Given her longstanding successful career in Hollywood, Diane Keaton has quite a story to tell in her new book “Let’s Just Say It Wasn’t Pretty.”
The “Family Stone” starlet chatted with “Today” show anchor Matt Lauer about his crush on her- "You have a nice body, you have a nice chest. I like you better than me."
As for whether or not she had issues with accepting Woody Allen’s lifetime achievement award, Diane declared, “No, of course not. You have to look at my life this way: he gave me my opportunity to be here and talk to you. It's all because of Woody Allen. Believe me, where would I be? Oh my god, I can't even imagine. I don't know what would have happened to me without him. I mean, he wrote Annie Hall. Are you kidding me? I mean, it was the greatest gift that was every given to me by anyone professionally. He's a genius. He's a genius of a great sort. I'm not trying to say he's Picasso, but he's a great writer.”
However, Keaton did admit she regrets not getting married. “Yeah I do... I wasn’t asked, but I did ask.”
