His new movie "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" is all set to hit theaters on May 4th and, as part of his promotions, Dev Patel landed himself a spotlight-garnering feature in the May 2012 issue of NYLON Guys magazine.

The 21-year-old actor looked snazzy in a Burberry suit with a Band of Outsiders shirt and a Cole Haan belt for the Patrick Fraser shot spread while chatting about his upcoming theatrical release and the type of roles in which he finds himself best suited.

Highlights from Dev's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to NYLON Guys!

On his new film 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel':
"It's daunting to come into a film with these guys who've pretty much seen it all. Their IMDb resumes are huge! But their energy and spirit was so bright that the shoot actually turned out to be one of the most fun things I've ever done. They're a vibrant bunch."

Director John Madden on Dev:
"He has this wonderful blind confidence that makes him unafraid to step out onto the gangplank and make an idiot of himself. He's very unabashed, and he isn't jaded at all."

On what he feels he's best suited for career-wise:
"Independent roles because I feel so much more connected to the characters and the scripts."
