Ending the ongoing feud surrounding Lady Gaga's SXSW performance, Demi Lovato has decided to end her argument with comedian Kathy Griffin, thanks to a series of death threats from fans.

The trouble began when the redhead was asked during a Twitter chat to share the "biggest douche celebrity" she has ever met, and Kathy responded, writing a tweet that has now since been deleted, "Probably [Demi] Lovato," adding, "Plus she should calm the f down bout Lady Gaga gettin barfed on."

Hearing about her new "award," 21-year-old Demi responded in kind, tweeting back, "Only a 'douche' to people I can't stand;" however, after Griffin received a number of death threats and angry messages from enraged fans, Demi wrote to her, "@kathygriffin no one should ever wish those things upon ANYONE. I apologize on others behalf. I do NOT approve of that at all. Sorry 4 that."

Following up to her fans, the "Neon Lights" singer tweeted, "I love you guys so much but y'all gotta chill with sending hate towards other people. Regardless of what they say or do.. The cruel things some of you are saying can really, REALLY hurt people. It's called cyber-bullying and somethings should NEVER be wished upon EVER. No matter WHAT."

Demi concluded, writing, "Be an example for other haters. I know my #Lovatics are better than that. I really appreciate you guys always having my back but this is going way too far."
