On Hodgkin's lymphoma:
“Wearing my little wig… it’s hard to talk about that moment in my life without crying. I can transport myself right there, standing there with my family. I can’t talk about it, I’m sorry. The extremity of everything that had gone on; my nurse was backstage and here I was collecting all these awards. It’s everything you dream about as a kid but then I was fighting for my life as I walked off the stage. I’ll never forget the support everyone gave me.”

On her thoughts about marriage:
“It’s definitely important to me… [but] I can’t imagine being in a relationship right now. I’m feeling very empowered – I don’t need anyone else.”

On her "The Voice" judging criticism:
“At the time, I was devastated, absolutely broken, I never wanted to be controversial. I’m in this for the music."
