David Beckham to Announce his Own Miami Major League Soccer Franchise
It's been a goal of his for a long time and now David Beckham finally nabbed his own Major League Soccer franchise.
Adding team #22 to the league, the retired footballer will own the new Miami team, set to make its debut in 2016. The official announcement is expected on Wednesday (February 5).
Back in 2007, when Becks joined the league as a player, part of the deal was the right to buy a team for the rate of $25 million.
Unfortunately, the sizzling H&M spokesman still has to find a home for the team.The search for a stadium site is underway and will prove to be a difficult task in sought-after Miami.
