Daughtry Riding Idol Wave, Beats Norah Jones!

Daughtry is back on top! The edgy American Idol alum found his self-titled album back at No. 1 as Norah Jones’ Not Too Late slipped in The Billboard 200.

Many have expected Daughtry to trail off, but the southern rocker has sure shown critics as his music continues to sell. Daughtry’s rocker style combined with American Idol exposure has kept him in the charts for 15 weeks.

A Billboard charts reveal Daughtry at the No. 1 position selling 90,000 copies, Not Too Late finishing with 74,000, and Akon's Konvicted at No. 3. The remaining top 10: Fall Out Boy's Infinity on High (No. 4) and Robin Thicke's The Evolution of Robin Thicke (No. 5), Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveSounds (No. 6), Nelly Furtado's Loose (No. 7), Dreamgirls soundtrack (No. 8), Corinne Bailey Rae's self-titled debut (No. 9) Dixie Chicks' Taking The Long Way (No. 10).
