Less than two weeks ahead of their movie's big debut, the stars of "The Dark Knight Rises" gathered together for Director Christopher Nolan's Hand and Foot print ceremony in Hollywood on Saturday (July 7).

Among those on-hand outside of Grauman's Chinese Theater were cast members Anne Hathaway, Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman and Michael Caine.

Meanwhile, during his time at the podium a humbled Mr. Nolan spoke of the concrete tribute's permanence, telling, "I think that's an astute observation. There is something about the permanence of these things. I'm standing on Clint Eastwood's name right now and there's something about knowing that he actually wrote that. There's something very interesting about that phenomenon of trying to preserve something and trying to hang onto it."

The event comes just after Yahoo! Movies released a brand new IMAX spot for "The Dark Knight Rises" - which can be viewed in the player below!

Also starring Tom Hardy and Marion Cotillard, the much-awaited movie hits regular and IMAX theaters on July 20th.
