Daniel Radcliffe On Harry Potter: “I Always Wanted to Do Other Things”
He’s starring in the Broadway production of “The Cripple of Inishmaan” these days, and Daniel Radcliffe has come a long way since his days at Hogwarts.
The “Woman in Black” actor dropped by “Today” to chat about his various acting pursuits, noting that he’s thankful for “Harry Potter” and the opportunities the franchise afforded him.
Daniel explained, “I think the perception around (young-adult film franchises) is that they can only be sort of a hindrance to people. But I think (it depends) on how you use it and depending on what your own goals are for yourself. Like, if you just want to coast on the fame of the franchise for the rest of your life, then you might well be able to do that — or that might prove impossible."
"I always wanted to do other things, and I think, so far at least, 'Potter's' been an amazing springboard to all of that.”
On Thursday night (April 3) Radcliffe paid a visit to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” where he found himself in a fierce battle of Sticky Balls. Check the clip below!
