"Dancing with the Stars" Sends Home First Celebrity
Week two of “Dancing with the Stars” boasted a Latin theme, as the twelve celebrities and their partners faced the first elimination of the season.
On Monday night (September 23), the high score went to “Glee” actress Amber Riley and her pro Derek Hough, who nabbed a score of 24, which added to last week’s score combined for a 51.
Hot on her tail with a two week total of 50 was “High School Musical” hunk Corbin Blue and his partner Karina Smirnoff, who wowed the audience with their jive.
Landing in the lowest spot for the evening was Bill Nye, aka The Science Guy, who along with Tyne Stecklein garnered a 31.
However, with fan votes figured in, the first celebrity to dance off into the sunset was former NFLer Keyshawn Johnson.
"For a guy that's never even bobbed his head in the car, the fact that I could have the experience of dance... is something amazing to me,” he said as he left.
