Dakota Fanning Promotes "Now is Good" in the UK
Venturing across the pond to promote her new movie, Dakota Fanning attended the "Now is Good" screening at Odeon Cinema Printworks in Manchester, England.
The "Twilight" actress looked simply chic in a short-sleeved cream top, black skirt, black heels and matching necklace as she flashed a shy smile to photographers on the red carpet at the event, which was also attended by Chelsea Grimes.
In the film, Miss Fanning plays a girl dying of Leukemia whose bucket list includes losing her virginity.
Recently, the 18 year-old starlet laughed off controversy over a photograph in an ad campaign made when she was just 17.
Last year, Dakota posed with an oversized bottle of Oh, Lola! perfume between her thighs in a Marc Jacobs ad. The photo was even banned by the U.K.'s Advertising Standards Authority.
However, the "Charlotte's Web" star tells British magazine Stella, "I thought it was hilarious. All of my friends were like, ‘Yeah, you’re corrupting youth with your perfume bottle and pink polka-dot dress!’… I’m constantly baffled by what people care about, when there are real problems in the world.”
